About Us

Valleyview building Supplies was started by Enoch and Lucy because their northern Alberta village had no place where a young carpenter, Enoch, could buy supplies. That was in 1951.Faced with this predicament, he and Lucy decided to start a building supplies business, so that Enoch could easily get the materials he needed for his work. Growing through the years, VVBS has become an important part of the community. The staff are known to have fun during our work day, not only with each other, but with our customers as well. We have a very friendly/family vibe! Pets are a welcome distraction here at VVBS! We do not see many cats, but we have a wonderful variety of dogs that come through on an almost daily basis for treats.
